IT professionals looking for best practices in deploying IT services are turning more and more often to Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) in order to become more efficient in data center operations. This case study highlights how a government agency used ITIL best practices in the face of ever-tightening budgets and staff resources in order to implement a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) for greater agility and end-user satisfaction.
